Does Bardes Consulting receive commissions?

No, we are a "fee-only" consulting firm. If insurance is purchased, an agent or broker may receive commissions, but we do not render any fees or revenue from product referrals. In certain situations, you can assign our fees to be paid by the agent or broker.

How much do you charge?

We either charge by the hour, or by the project package cost. We provide full estimates before we proceed on any project. Final costs may be higher or lower than our estimates, but we advise you along the way. We do not provide surprise invoices.

Is it worth paying a fee, why not let the agent or broker do the work?

An agent or broker is tied legally to their insurance companies and their duty is to represent the insurance company. We only represent your best interest and take such a fiduciary responsibility very seriously.

Can we get references from you first?

No, our client list is strictly confidential. When you become a client we will never disclose our relationship or have people bother you with phone calls.
